The Best Way to Remove Rust From a Stainless Steel Grill
- 1). Rub the rusty spots on the grill with the steel wool pad. Use the steel wool gently to prevent scratching the steel.
- 2). Mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water. Put the sponge in the warm water, then wash away the rusty spots you've loosened with the steel wool.
- 3). Add vinegar to the steel wool pad and remove any remaining rust that you couldn't get with the sponge.
- 4). Rinse the grill with clean water before using it.
