- The Traxxas Nitro Stampede is a nitro-powered radio-controlled monster truck. It was named "Truck of the Year" by RC Car Action magazine, and is commonly referred to as the "pit bull of R/C monster trucks." Whether you've been driving R/C cars and trucks for years or you are just a beginner, the Nitro Stampede has a lot to offer.
- The Nitro Stampede is 17 inches long, 9.5 inches tall and 12.75 inches wide. It weighs approximately 83.2 oz. and sports a wheelbase of 10.75 inches. The front shock length is "Long" and the rear shock length is "XXLong." It features 2.8-inch mirror-chrome "All-Star" wheels and "Talon" 2.8-inch tires in the front and rear.
- The Nitro Stampede comes with a TRX Pro.15 engine with optional EZ-Start. The fuel tank capacity is 75 cc. The truck has a shaft-driven rear-wheel-drive system with single-point steering, a 3.75-to-1 internal gear ratio, planetary differential, 32-pitch gear and a "Nitro Magnum 375" transmission.
- The Nitro Stampede features a double-decked T6 aluminum/composite chassis. It also comes with a Traxxas TQ 2-channel radio, and includes disc brakes to slow the truck down from its top speed of over 33 mph. The body design is new, and is painted in a ProGraphix style. The Nitro Stampede comes fully assembled and ready to race straight out of the box.
