    Soap and Water Method

    • 1). Fill a bucket with water as hot as you can stand it. Add a few squirts of mild dish soap to the water. Use your hands to combine the soap and water.

    • 2). Dip a rag into the bucket of soapy water. Wring out the rag lightly and saturate the paint splatters with the water.

    • 3). Use a razor blade to gently scrape the latex paint from the windows. Hold the razor blade at a 45-degree angle while scraping. Lift the razor blade from the glass after each stroke to avoid scratching the glass. Make sure that the blade is sharp so as to reduce the likelihood of scratching the window.

    • 4). Clean the window with paper towels and window cleaner. This will remove any residue from the paint and soap.

    Vinegar and Water Method

    • 1). Fill a pot with 3 tablespoons of white vinegar and 3 tablespoons of water. If the latex paint spots are large, double or even triple the recipe.

    • 2). Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Remove the pot from the heat once the water has boiled.

    • 3). Dip a rag into the pot. Use extreme caution so that you do not burn yourself. Wear a pair of thick rubber gloves for added protection.

    • 4). Rub the hot vinegar solution onto the paint spots. Start off by rubbing slowly to allow the heat to loosen the paint. Add more vinegar solution and scrub harder until the paint starts to come off.

    • 5). Continue applying the hot vinegar and water mixture and scrubbing with the rag until all of the paint has been removed from the window. Use a razor blade, if necessary, to scrape any stubborn paint from the glass.

    • 6). Clean the window with paper towels and window cleaner once all of the paint is gone.
