How to Uninstall & Install DB2
- 1). Click the "Start" button on your taskbar and click the "Programs" option. Click "IBM Installation Manager."
- 2). Click the "IBM Installation Manager" option again and select the components you want to remove from the server.
- 3). Click the "Next" button and select click the "Uninstall" button. Allow time for the uninstall process to complete and restart your computer.
- 4). Insert the DB2 installation disc into your computer's CD-ROM and click the "Install" button from the prompt that appears. Click "Next."
- 5). Select the "Typical" option and click "Next." Select the folder you want to save the installation files to from the Destination Location dialog box and click the "Next" button.
- 6). Enter a user name and password into the appropriate fields of the Control Server dialog box and click "Next." Click "Yes."
- 7). Click "Next" again and select the "No" option. Click the "Continue" button and allow time for the installation to complete. Click "Finish" and select "Exit" to complete the process.
