    • 1). Pre-heat your oven at 300 degrees F.

    • 2). Spread the shelled sunflower seeds in a single layer in a casserole dish or baking pan. Mix the seeds with a teaspoon of melted butter or oil to every cup of sunflower seeds for extra flavor.

    • 3). Roast for 30 to 40 minutes at 300 degrees F or until the seeds are light brown and crispy.

    • 4). Place the seeds on a paper towel to cool. Salt lightly or as preferred.

    • 5). Store the roasted seeds in a sealed sandwich bag or an airtight container.
