Recipe Book For Famous Restaurant Dishes
As a chef, every time I go to a restaurant, I try to guess the ingredients of the dish I am eating.
Actually over the years, I even came up with my own version of some of the dishes I found reasonably good, and they became favorites of my family and friends.
So, I can claim humbly, that I do have the ability of recreating a dish or simply creating a new one.
However, many times I could not detect a certain spice or taste in a dish that I was eating, especially at a corporate or chain restaurant.
I was always curious of the process the dish had to go through and what "secret ingredients," as most of these famous restaurants claim to have, were used to realize the dish with the same consistent taste every time.
Even though, out of curiosity, I did try to find these recipes on the Internet, thinking they might exist somewhere and to my surprise never found the right recipes I was looking for.
Now days with the vast amount of information online, you would think it is inevitable to find what you're looking for at some point, but that wasn't the case.
It seemed like these recipes were kept well guarded.
Not that I was disappointed or anything, but it was a challenge I was determined to overcome for my own ego.
And yes, I do admit, I have an ego, contrary to many.
Well, to my amazement my consistent search paid off, but not in the way you might think.
I found out that a number of chefs after many years of research created a recipe book that listed the recipes of many of these dishes we like and eat regularly at our favorite chain restaurants.
Additionally, the recipes are very easy to follow and the dishes come out very close to what we get at the restaurant.
It is called "America's most wanted recipes.
" Now, I can make my own ribs, chicken and pasta I eat at my favorite restaurants myself at the comfort of my house.
