Ohio State avoided an upset bid at Navy last weekend, but if the Buckeyes don't put a better all-around game together on Saturday they may easily lose to a good Virginia Tech team. However, OSU is an 11-point college football betting favorite.

Ohio State beat the Midshipmen 34-17. Redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns in his college debut as Ohio State earned its 25th consecutive regular-season victory. Tech offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler is no stranger to the pinnacle man of Ohio State as he coached under Urban Meyer for two years at Florida as his quarterbacks coach. In 2009 and 2010, Loeffler and Meyer coached in Gainesville, leading the Gators to a 21-6 record over both years.

Ohio State has won 64 in a line at home against unranked nonconference opponents.
