Gormiti Figures - The Legends of Gorm
With the rising popularity of the game Gormiti-The Invincible Lords Of Nature, it becomes necessary to learn the basis of the legends that go along with the game.
Here is a shortened version of the legends and a short history of the series releases in the U.
S.
For generations the peaceful, nature loving people of Gorm lived at the base of Fire Mountain.
Being led by The Sage they believed Fire Mountain to be dormant, everyone except The Sage.
The Sage was the keeper of the secrets, and a great magician, but he only had a hint.
One day Fire Mountain exploded, giving birth to the Magma, an evil destructive tribe, led by Lord Magmion.
These evil creatures craved to devour the souls of the Gormiti, and they eventually consumed all the souls on Gorm...
all but one, The Old Sage.
With no more souls to eat Lord Magmion and his Magma weakened, and eventually returned to Fire Mountain to recharge and gain strength.
The Sage knew he didn't have long, and he mourned his people lost, crying tears that became The Eye Of Life, the inspiration for his next magic.
The Old Sage conspired with the four Elements Of Nature to create four tribes to destroy all the Magma and Lord Magmion.
They created The Earth tribe, righteous and having much strength; The Forest tribe, hardy protectors of the forest that have much wisdom; Tribe of the Water, fast as a fish, and infinitely more cunning; Tribe of the Air, always happy, but a fierce protector of the clouds and skies.
The Lords of these tribes had no memory, but had souls with a passion to protect their people, and the strength to do it.
During his exile Lord Magmion divided the magma into two evil groups, the lava and volcano.
He used his magic to disrupt the four tribes, and make them war among themselves.
This is when Lord Magmion launched his campaign of total domination.
The Gormiti believed conquest was the only way.
So begins the epic battle of good and evil, on the isle of Gorm.
Series 1 Sets contain 42 figures from the Italian release and 30 figures from the series Final Evolution.
All 6 tribes are there, but the lava and volcano tribes are only available in starter sets.
