How to Upload the Aviation Database in a Garmin Nuvi 200W
- 1). Log into your "My Garmin" account on the FlyGarmin website.
- 2). Connect Garmin Nuvi 200W to your computer with the USB data cable: plug the small end into your 200W and the larger end into the USB port on your computer and turn your Garmin Nuvi 200W on.
- 3). Click "Portables" on the FlyGarmin web page. A photo of your device will show up, along with a list of databases you can download or update on the left side of the page. New downloads are green, while updates are red, and databases that are not available are gray.
- 4). Select the database you wish to download and then select the purchasing option that best fits your needs: "Buy," "Use Coupon" or "Import Previous Subscription." You will need to type in your coupon code or import password if you select those options.
- 5). Select "Proceed with New Purchase" and press "Buy." Choose if you would like a "Single Update" or an "Annual Subscription" and press "Add to Cart" and "Checkout," then fill out your billing information and press "Submit Order."
- 6). Click "Download Now" and select "Install." Your Garmin Nuvi 200W will tell you when installation is complete.
