    Santa Claus Christmas Ornament

    • Get a Popsicle stick and some red construction paper. Cut a Santa Claus shirt and pants out of the paper. Replicate the shirt and pants on another piece of red construction paper. Glue one shirt on the Popsicle stick, turn it over and glue the second shirt on the back of the Popsicle shirt. Do the same with the pants. Cut out a head from a skin color piece of paper and a hat from a black piece of construction paper for the Popsicle stick man. Glue the head on him. Draw some eyes, nose and stretch out some cotton to make a beard. Cut some arms and legs. Use cotton to make the cuffs for the arms and legs, and then make some mittens and boots for him. Use glue to attach him together. Loop some string and glue it on the back of Santa. Hang it on your tree.

    Make an Easter Basket

    • Take an old empty container and clean it out. Glue cotton balls over the container. Use some construction paper, card stock or other heavy-weight malleable item to make a handle for the container. Glue the handle to the container to make a fluffy Easter Basket.

Let Your Child's Creativity Run Wild

    • Gather art supplies including your cotton balls. Have your child create a picture and use the cotton balls any way she would like to. She can use them as clouds or as snow. You could help her cut out a bunny and have her fill the bunny in with the cotton balls or just use them for the tail, feet and ears.

    Educational Craft

    • If you want a craft to teach the letter "C," use a piece of construction paper and write the letter on it. Have the child take cotton balls and glue them along the line making the letter. You can emphasize the letter "C" in cotton balls.
