How to Install a 2001 Nissan Altima Flasher
- 1). Turn off the Altima's engine and open the hood. Put on a pair of clean gloves for safety.
- 2). Disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench. Remove the four screws from the bottom of the front fender protector using a screwdriver. Move the fender protector aside to access the headlamp mounting fasteners.
- 3). Remove the three nuts and the bolt that are fastening the headlamp assembly to the vehicle, using a socket wrench. This will loosen the assembly. Pull the assembly away from the front of the vehicle to access the bulb sockets.
- 4). Rotate the socket counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlamp assembly. Pull the old bulb out of the socket and replace it with a new bulb. Place the socket back into the assembly and rotate it clockwise to secure it.
- 5). Place the assembly back into the vehicle and reinstall the three nuts and bolt. Place the fender protector back onto the vehicle and secure it with the four screws. Reattach the negative battery cable and close the hood.
