    • 1). Choose a novelty ice cube mold to reflect your event or party. For example, if the event is a princess party, choose a mold that will create tiara- or castle-shaped ice cubes.

    • 2). Add gel-based food coloring to the water within the mold. Use a toothpick to create a swirling effect.

    • 3). Select fruits such as strawberries, pineapples, or cherries to cut up and place inside the molds before freezing. Also, try freezing whole cranberries or pieces of lemon cut into different shapes.

    • 4). Add flavoring extracts or zests to enhance the taste of ice cubes. Peppermint extract or lemon zest are good examples for adding a flavor twist. Fruit juices can also be added if a stronger taste is desired.
