How to Add Custom Flash Buttons to a Dreamweaver Library

    • 1). Create your Flash button and save it to your hard drive.

    • 2). Open Dreamweaver on your computer.

    • 3). Create a new page on Dreamweaver by clicking "File" and "New."

    • 4). Move your pointer to the insertion spot for the button. Click "Insert" at the top of the screen.

    • 5). Select "Media" from the Insert menu and then "Flash." Use the dialog box to locate and import your button, adding it to the new page.

    • 6). Open the Library panel in Dreamweaver. Click "Window," then click "Assets" and "Library."

    • 7). Click the "Library" button on the panel to create a new item.

    • 8). Drag the Flash button into the library pane. The button will appear as an item in your library.

    • 9). Select the button in the panel and double-click to assign a name to it.
