Romantic Date Ideas - How To Be Romantic And Fun Without Breaking Your Wallet
Are you feeling the pinch in your wallet of this economy? I know a lot of people who are so I figured it would be useful to write an article on some ideas for inexpensive dates.
I was going to call this article how to go on "cheap dates", but that just sounded too trashy.
So instead I am using the word inexpensive.
There are some really great things you can do that are next to nothing in cost.
Remember the whole point of a date is to get to know the other person better and to have a good time.
Take your date on a picnic in the park.
Most cities have nice parks when you can go and enjoy the sunshine.
Pack a lunch and grab a $5 bottle of white wine.
You should be able to get out of this entire date for less than ten bucks.
Bring a blanket and maybe your iPod for some tunes.
Enjoy the afternoon laying on a blanket in the shade sipping chardonnay.
Take your date to Barnes and Noble or your local, large chain bookstore.
Most medium sized towns have at least one of these and most of them have a little coffee shop inside.
Skip the coffee shops high prices by starting the date at your house where you have made a fresh pot of some really good coffee.
A date to a bookstore is a great way to get to know someone.
You walk through the books and talk about things you have read or would like to read.
If you sometimes have a problem thinking of things to say this is a great way to keep the conversation rolling.
Take your date on a movie marathon.
Talk to your date and pick a subject, and actor, or a series.
Rent those movies (I prefer Netflix or RedBox because it costs next to nothing!).
Then pop some popcorn and get a cheap bottle of wine and enjoy the evening watching 2-4 movies together.
This is a marathon so there is plenty of time to snuggle, talk, and make out too.
This has all the ingredients of a great inexpensive date.
In order for a date to be good it doesn't need to break your bank.
In fact some of the best dates I have gone on cost me nearly nothing.
Why would you want to spend a lot of money when instead you can just be creative and have a great time.
I hope these ideas will help you to be more successful at dating.
