How to Exclude a Domain From a Google Search

    • 1). Navigate to Google.com. Enter the search terms of interest into the Google search field.

    • 2). Click "Search" to view the search results. Review the search results and choose a domain that you want to exclude from the search.

    • 3). Copy and paste the URL of the domain into the Google search field. Include the prefix "www," as well as the site's domain name extension, such as ".org" or ".com."

    • 4). Type a hyphen at the beginning of the domain name you want to exclude from the Google search. For example, to exclude Example.com, type "-www.example.com."

    • 5). Type in the search terms and click "Search" to search with the domain name excluded. Google allows users exclude up to 32 words in a search query, meaning that you can exclude multiple domain names if necessary.
