How to Make a Frame for a Jersey
- 1). Open up your shadow box and take the back off. You will notice that it is deep as opposed to the shallowness of most picture frames. This will give you the room necessary to hold all the material from the jersey.
- 2). Measure a piece of foam core board to fit the inside of the shadow box. Cut it a fraction smaller so the jersey has room to go around the sides without it being too snug.
- 3). Slide the cut piece of foam core board into the jersey. Move it behind the part of the front of the shirt that you want to show off. Fold the rest of the jersey to fit behind the foam core board.
- 4). Fit the jersey and board into the shadow box, against the front piece of glass. Situate the jersey neatly behind it and attach the back of the shadow box with the sliding clasps.
- 5). Turn the shadow box around and inspect the jersey to make sure it is straight and there is no lint. If all looks good, hang your frame on the wall. It will be protected and still enjoyed for years to come.
