How to Remove the Lid of an Okidata Ml320
- 1). Pull the knob on the right of the Okidata ML320 printer directly horizontal to remove it. Set it to the side.
- 2). Lift up on the translucent plastic access cover on the front of the printer until it is standing vertical. Note that there is a hinge near the front. Unhook the hinges from the front of the printer to remove the access cover. Set it to the side.
- 3). Lift the paper feed tray on the back of the printer directly up to remove it. Set it to the side.
- 4). Locate the change lever on the right side of the printer. This is a small movable plastic piece. Rotate the change lever until it is pointing downward.
- 5). Lift the printer so that you have access to the bottom portion of the front. Insert a thin flathead screwdriver into the four clips on the front of the printer lid. Twist the screwdriver to release the clips.
- 6). Pull the front, outside lip of the front cover and lift directly up to remove it. Set it to the side. You now have access to the internal components of the Okidata ML320.
