What is next for the cell phone? We can already take pictures, surf the internet, listen to music and even make videos.
With the increase in features and applications, battery life is a major factor.
Cell Phone Batteries have taken a huge leap in performance over the last couple years, but there are some things to consider when purchasing or replacing a cell phone battery.
Aftermarket cell phone batteries are a dime a dozen, and you can get a really good deal on the accessory, but beware of what you are buying.
You can get on the internet and find hundreds of vendors out there that will sell you an aftermarket battery, but that would not be my first recommendation.
If you are on a tight budget and you are trying to save money, then maybe I would tell you to do so, otherwise stay away from aftermarket.
First off You need to make sure that the battery is made for your particular model, even if it does fit correctly.
If the battery is not made for your particular brand or model, you will damage your phone and possibly have to buy a new one.
Other issues like overheating the battery, may cause the battery to leak inside the phone which would also produce safety hazards.
My recommendation would be to go to the manufacture and purchase an OEM battery or genuine battery.
These cell phone batteries right from the start will give you 50% more battery life than the aftermarket counterparts.
The way the battery fits and operates is by the factory standards and the craftsmanship cannot be duplicated.
The battery will have the correct voltage and battery life indicators which will not cause overheating, which will in the long run give you more battery life.
One good thing about the OEM battery is that you can find them at the factory outlets and/or on the internet.
As you can see there are many options available when looking to buy a replacement or backup battery.
I would again recommend the OEM or genuine cell phone battery, and if money is the key factor then well you may have to go with the cheaper, just be prepared for lower quality and performance.
Sometimes the higher priced cell phone batteries are worth it in the long run, due to the fact that you don't have to replace them as often.
