- Yoga consists of a series of asanas, or poses, typically done in a sequence. - Ujjayi pranayama is the method of breathing practiced during yoga. Through alignment and exercise, the reduction of stress and anxiety with improved liver and kidney function is beneficial to a healthy sleep schedule. Certain yoga asanas are also particularly beneficial to healthy sleeping.
- Meditation involves the control of the mind and ability to let go of thoughts and ideas of the future and past. This practice is integral to yoga; it reduces stress and promotes a healthy outlook.
