How to Update Axim
- 1). Plug the small end of the included data cable into the bottom of the Dell Axim.
- 2). Plug the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer and turn on the Axim.
- 3). Open the Axim sync software on your computer. If you have yet to install the software, insert the included software disc into your computer and follow the prompts on screen to install it.
- 4). Open your Internet browser and navigate to a site that offers a Windows mobile upgrade for your Axim (see Resources).
- 5). Click on the "Download" tab on screen and wait for the status indicator to inform you when the update is finished downloading.
- 6). Click on the update on screen to launch it. The status bar in the sync program window will inform you when the update is complete on the Axim handset.
