    • 1). Slide the zip tool under the bottom lip of the siding above the piece you need to remove. The zip tool will fit between the lower locking edge of the upper piece. Pull the zip tool away from the wall to unlock the upper piece of siding.

    • 2). Slide the zip tool along the edge of the siding to release the upper piece from the lower piece you need to remove. Lift the upper piece of siding up to reveal the nail edge of the lower piece of siding.

    • 3). Use a claw hammer to take out the nails from the top of the piece of siding you need to remove. Pull enough nails so that the siding can be moved away from the window far enough to access the window-securing screws.

    • 4). Continue loosening the siding all around the window frame. Remove the screws that secure the bottom siding trim from under the window frame with a ¼-inch nut driver.

    • 5). Start at the bottom and remove the screws that secure the window to the double-wide with a nut driver or cordless screwdriver with an appropriate socket.

    • 6). Ask a friend to hold the bottom of the window as you remove the screws from the top of the window frame. Insert a large putty knife between the window frame and the wall and carefully pull the window away from the double-wide.
