    How to Save Embedded Video to a Desktop

    • 1). Go to the website that has the embedded video you want to save.

    • 2). Click on the "Tools" pull down window from the top of the Internet Explorer page.

    • 3). Select "Internet Options" from the list provided.

    • 4). Select "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" from the window that opens and press OK.

    • 5). Watch the video you want to save from start to finish. You will only be able to save the portion of the video that you watch.

    • 6). Go back to the "Internet Options" window by repeating Steps 2 and 3 after the video is finished.

    • 7). Click "Settings" and then "View Files" from the windows that open.

    • 8). Select the tab that says "Size" to put the files in order from largest to smallest.

    • 9). Click on the file name for the largest file in the list. This will be the video that you just watched. It will be in FLV format.

      Right Click this file and select copy from the list of options.

      Close all of the windows that are opened and go to your desktop. Right click your mouse and select paste from the Options list.

      Select the file that was pasted to your desktop and play it back whenever you would like. You do not have to be connected to the Internet.
