Tropical Wedding Gifts
- The wedding couple will appreciate a small reminder of their tropical wedding.tropical paradise image by Partridge Pictures from Fotolia.com
Brides-to-be often choose to have their weddings at a resort in a tropical setting. Besides making for a magical wedding and reception, tropical venues take the worry out of booking a banquet hall and making other arrangements, as resort weddings are typically all-inclusive. It's easy to find an appropriate gift for a wedding whose theme has already been chosen. - Arrange for room service for the bride and groom and their wedding party before the wedding. The bride may feel too nervous to eat before the ceremony, but a quick snack will keep her from passing out at the alter. Order a platter of sandwiches, vegetables or cheese and crackers for all members of the wedding party. Include a note or card to wish the couple congratulations.
- Gift the bride and groom a gift bag full of items they'll need for their honeymoon or vacation on the beach. Start with a tote bag in a bright, tropical color. Fill the bag with fluffy beach towels, a beach blanket, sunscreen, hats with visors, and snacks such as pretzels, cookies and trail mix.
- Give a gift that reminds the couple of their destination wedding. A glass paperweight in the shape of a dolphin or tropical flower is one idea. Look for a paperweight that comes in a protective box, especially if you need to ship it or carry it with you on a plane. A set of dolphin-shaped cookie cutters and a macadamia nut cookie mix is another option. Or treat the couple to scented candles in orchid, jasmine or another exotic fragrance.
