    • 1). Remove the under dash concealment cover, using a 7-mm socket. Disconnect the electrical connector that is plugged into the fan housing.

    • 2). Pull the rubber ventilation hose off the fan. Remove all the screws securing the fan motor housing to the HVAC case, using the appropriate size socket.

    • 3). Lower the fan out of the case and remove the plastic fan (squirrel cage), and place it on the new fan motor.

    • 4). Replace the fan motor and components in reverse order of removal, making sure to plug the rubber ventilator hose into the fan motor and the housing downstream. The hose keeps the fan motor from overheating.
