    • 1). Attach the coaxial cable from the "RF OUT" jack on the antenna to the "RF IN" jack on the back of the converter box by turning the threaded coupler on each end clockwise around the jacks to tighten and secure the connections.

    • 2). Connect a second coaxial cable from the "OUT To TV" jack on the converter box to the "RF IN" jack on the back of the VCR. Tighten both ends by hand.

    • 3). Insert the three plugs on one end of the composite cable into the color-matching yellow, red and white jacks on the back of the VCR labeled "AV OUT" or "Playback."

    • 4). Connect the plugs on the other end to the three Composite "AV Input" jacks on the back of the TV, matching the colors on the plugs to the jacks.

    • 5). Plug in the power cords for the converter box, VCR, and TV, then press the "Scan" or "Auto-Tune" button on the converter box control panel. The wording may vary, depending on the model.

    • 6). Press the "Input" button on the TV remote control until the signal from the converter box displays on the TV set.
