How to Adjust the Feet on a Kenmore Refrigerator
- 1). Open the refrigerator door and pull the base grille on the bottom of the appliance away from the refrigerator.
- 2). Place a level on top of the refrigerator to determine the adjustments needed. Measure both side to side and front to back.
- 3). Locate the feet or wheels on the left and right sides of the front of the refrigerator and accessible with the grille removed. Only the front feet or wheels are adjustable; it's not necessary to gain access to the rear feet or wheels.
- 4). Turn the bolt on the top of the feet or wheels, using an adjustable wrench to raise or lower the wheel or foot. Rotating the bolt clockwise raises the foot or wheel, while rotating it counterclockwise lowers it.
- 5). Open and close the refrigerator doors, allowing them to open and close on their own. Check that the doors open and close to your satisfaction. If not, continue adjusting the feet or wheels.
- 6). Replace the base grille by snapping it back onto the refrigerator.
