What"s Up With Outdoor Living Space?
Whether you leave it up to that certain someone you live with or you enjoy redecorating yourself, giving your house a 'facelift', can be so exciting and fun.
If you look at it as a chance to regenerate the space your family lives in and not a drudgery waiting to be completed, this can without a doubt, change the outcome.
I happen to be a positive person who likes fresh new ideas and wishes I had more time to dedicate to doing just that.
It's not a chore, it is an adventure! To me, it happens with light, bright colors, green living plants and most of all lighting.
What you can create with lights is endless.
How about a water feature, a fountain of some sort or just a rock garden with water flowing gently down but lit up with soft landscape lighting throughout the space.
Between the water and the lights, it will be just a nice place for the times you enjoy being alone with your thoughts, for reading or just being with friends and family in this new floor space.
Hey, if you are like me, you're outside, breathing in fresh air and taking advantage of being in the favorite place of your home.
But it doesn't end there.
No, you can still add in pot lights over those certain areas...
directly over plants, over the outdoor stove would be another area where lighting would be helpful.
The space continues on with a new woven resin seating that has this gorgeous mahogany finish placed in just the right place to enjoy the garden area and the wonderful view beyond.
Again, the pot lighting adds just enough lit up area over the seating to be able to read comfortably or enjoy your guest.
The modular pieces can be moved around making this area the open air chat room you always dreamed of.
So does it take a decorator to get this together.
Personally, I think not.
With all the knowledge at our fingertips these days, virtually anyone is capable to create whatever atmosphere they would like in and around their home.
The ideas that come forth are endless, sometimes from your very own concepts but other times, they're the designs found in stores, the computer and yes, even that certain someone who swore he wanted no part of this new project.
When others witness your excitement and vigor, sooner or later they will chime in and even put in some of their own formulated thoughts to this latest project we have taken on.
