How to Get Hair Glue Out

    • 1). Purchase bonding glue remover shampoo and conditioner and a rat tail comb from your local hair supply or beauty store.

    • 2). Run the hot water in your shower. Wait for the water to steam then get into the shower. You want the water to be hot, but not so hot that it burns your skin.

    • 3). Allow the water to thoroughly wet your hair. Massage the water into your hair but do not rub roughly. Move the shower head away from your body, or turn so that your hair is out of the water flow. Gently massage the bonding glue remover shampoo into your hair. Let the shampoo/conditioner sit on your hair for about 15 minutes.

    • 4). Comb the glue out of your hair after the 15 minutes have passed. Brush downward through your hair with the rat tail comb. Rinse the comb and pull downward again in even strokes. Continue until the hair glue is out.

    • 5). Rinse your hair. Run the clean rat tail comb through the hair once more. If any glue is still present, repeat the shampooing and combing steps.
