Rekindle the Love and Passion in Your Marriage
It is not difficult to rekindle the romance and passion in your marriage. It's the simple things that really matter. Each relaitonship will be different and its just a matter of finding what works for you both. For e.g. a wife might be happy just receiving a flower, or a husband a love letter from his wife. It's not so much the gift but the meaning behind it. It shows that you care.
Passion
What is passion? Passion is the intense desire for something. The stronger you desire to please your spouse and make him/her happy the happier you both would be.
Are you passionate about your marriage? If not, then there's no hope. However, if you still have the desire to keepn your marriage alive, then make a conscious effort to try and excite your spouse often. Of course there may be times when you run out of ideas, but remember, it's the little things that count.
Regular Dating Keeps you Close and Bonded
Dating is still very important after marriage. It will help seal the bond you developed in your early courtship years. I'm sure you could find someone who could keep the children for you for a few hours while you spend some quality time together.
Also, if you are so inclined, you can take the children along with you. It all depends on your circumstances and the type of family structure you have.
Keep the Romance in your Marriage
It is unfortunate that when romance is non-existent in a marriage, either spouse tend to go look for it on the outside. Infedility will never be a good thing. It will always cause problems and unhappiness in a relationship. Here's some excellent advice from the bible:
"Drink water from your own well - share your love only with your wife. Why spill the water of your springs in public, having sex with just anyone? You should reserve it for yourselves. Don't share it with strangers. Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. She is a loving doe, a graceful deer. Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love". (Proverbs 5:15 - 19, New Living Translation). Of course this advice goes for women as well.
Even though this advice is primarily for men, women should improvise and use the advice for themselves.
When you make a concerted effort to make your marriage last, you will be blessed. You just need to find ways to keep the romance and passion alive.
