How to Reset the Internet Toolbar
- 1). Download the official "Microsoft Fix It" for the missing toolbar issue. See Resources.
- 2). Save the file to your desktop or to your downloads folder.
- 3). Double-click the Fix It file.
- 4). Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the modification process.
- 1). Open Internet Explorer.
- 2). Click "Tools" in the menu bar, then "Internet Options."
- 3). Click the "Advanced" tab.
- 4). Click the "Reset" button under the "Reset Internet Explorer settings" heading.
- 5). Do not click on the box next to "Delete Personal Settings." Click "Reset."
- 6). Click "Close," then "OK."
- 7). Restart Internet Explorer.
