How to Reset the Internet Toolbar

    Run the Microsoft Fix It

    • 1). Download the official "Microsoft Fix It" for the missing toolbar issue. See Resources.

    • 2). Save the file to your desktop or to your downloads folder.

    • 3). Double-click the Fix It file.

    • 4). Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the modification process.

    Reset Internet Explorer

    • 1). Open Internet Explorer.

    • 2). Click "Tools" in the menu bar, then "Internet Options."

    • 3). Click the "Advanced" tab.

    • 4). Click the "Reset" button under the "Reset Internet Explorer settings" heading.

    • 5). Do not click on the box next to "Delete Personal Settings." Click "Reset."

    • 6). Click "Close," then "OK."

    • 7). Restart Internet Explorer.
