How to Record a Voice to CD-ROM
- 1). Click "Start" in Windows. Select "All Programs" and then "Accessories."
- 2). Select "Entertainment" and then "Sound Recorder" from the drop-down menus.
- 3). Hook up your microphone to your computer. Click the "Record" button in Windows. Record your voice and then click "Stop." Click "File" and select "Save as" in the Sound Recorder program. Pick a name for the file, select a folder where you want it to go, and then click "OK."
- 4). Open Windows Media Player under the "Start" menu. Insert your blank CD-R into the Burn drive. Select the "Burn" tab and then select "Data disc" from the drop-down menu. Click and drag the recorded voice file from the folder where you saved it to the "Burn List" in the Burn tab.
- 5). Click "Start Burn" to begin burning your voice recording to CD.
