Expectations, Choices, Love And Reality
What I have learned is that I believe our understanding of love and family begins shortly after conception.
Did mom take care of us reasonably, eating nutritious foods, avoiding drugs, alcohol & smoking.
Did you at such a young age experience Mental or physical abuse? Did you hear the voices of those closest to you? And do you think any of this could play a part in your very first introduction to the life you are about to become part of? How and can this part of our beginnings have an effect who we will become? This author thinks unequivocally Yes! The new child (you) are born and hopefully both parents and possibly other family members are also present, Celebrating a new family member.
Being Innocent, at this point in our life we begin to experience many things that will imprint upon us our (education if you will), who we might become, considering among other things; conflict, nurturing, violence, empathy, feeling safe, security, stability, compassion, passion, childhood experiences, common sense, happiness, tranquility, insecurity, jealousy, the indescribable by words, love origins, thought, trust, forgiveness, what is born within us/our souls, our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and yes even death, pets, homes and schools.
I believe doubtlessly these and many other events in our young lives will have a profound impact on our expectations, deeply guiding us on the maps of our journey and limits of family, as well as our love values.
I honestly think consideration of the above will make a difference on how you love.
I will try to move on to later events chemistry, attraction, hormones, etc, sharing what I think are important values I have had the good fortune to live and learn by, in my next article.
Have a great life and be a good parent!
