The tips on the 18- and 20-inch bars are replaceable. The bars are paired with 0.325 pitch, 0.50 gauge low-kickback chrome cutter chains. The 16-inch bar chain has 66 drive links, the 18-inch bar chain has 72 drive links, and the 20-inch bar chain has 78 drive links.

• The ignition mechanism of the Poulan 3300 is solid-state and is triggered with a starter pull rope. The spark plug is a Champion CJ-4 installed at a 0.025 inch gap. Oiler System and Oil Requirements

• The oiler system of the Poulan 3300 is adjustable and automatic. Poulan Bar and Chain Oil is the recommended oil for this model, although any SAE 30 oil can be used if necessary. When the temperature gets below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, a mix of 95 percent oil to 5 percent kerosene or diesel fuel #1 should be used. The percentage of kerosene should be raised to 10 percent when the saw will be used in temperatures below 0 (zero) degrees Fahrenheit.
  
  

Fuel Mix

• The Poulan 3300 requires a mixture of regular unleaded gasoline and two-stroke engine oil for power. The recommended oil is Poulan Pro 40:1 engine oil mixed at a ratio of 40 parts of gasoline to one part of oil (2/1/2 gallons of gasoline to 8 ounces of oil). Regular two-cycle air cooled engine oil can also be used at a ratio of 16 parts of gasoline to one part of oil. Neither marine nor automotive oil can be used in the mixture. The gas and oil should not be mixed directly in the tank.
