Disable Pre-loaded Toolbar Settings

• 1). Launch IE7 by double-clicking its icon on your desktop.
  
  
• 2). Open the Internet Options application window by clicking "Tools" then highlighting and clicking "Internet Options."
  
  
• 3). Disable third-party browser extensions. Click the Advanced tab in Internet Options. Scroll down until you find the line "Enable third-party browser extensions." Unclick the box next to this line to disable it.
  
  
• 4). Exit Internet Options by clicking "Apply" then clicking "OK." Close IE7 and re-launch it.
  
  
• 5). Reset your homepage to the website of your choice. Open the "Internet Options" application window. In the text box, enter a new home page address. Click "Apply" to save your changes, then click "OK" to exit Internet Options.
  
  

Unlock Security Program Auto-sets

• 1). Open your computer in Safe Mode. Restart the computer and hold in the F8 key while it boots.
  
  
• 2). Launch IE7. Open the Internet Options application window by clicking "Tools" then highlighting and clicking "Internet Options."
  
  
• 3). Enter a new home page in the text box. Click "Apply" to save your settings. Click "OK" to exit.
  
  
• 4). Restart your computer into Normal Mode.
  
  

Remove Hijacking Malware

• 1). Open your computer in Safe Mode.
  
  
• 2). Run your anti-virus program's update module to download any new virus or malware definitions and fixes.
  
  
• 3). Run a full scan of your computer and all drives with your anti-virus program.
  
  
• 4). Restart your computer in Normal Mode.
