How to Edit Skin in Photoshop
- 1). Transfer the image you want to edit onto your computer from your digital camera.
- 2). Open Photoshop. Go to the menu and select "File." Choose "Open" and in the dialog box locate the file you loaded and open it.
- 3). Select the "Clone Stamp" tool from the tool bar. Then hover the mouse over a point you would like the program to use as a reference when painting over the defect you want to remove. It should be similar in appearance to what the repaired area would look like without the defect.
- 4). Hold down the "ALT" key and click on the point to select it. In the options, select a brush with a faded edge. Use this tool to "paint" over the defect you want to remove. Move on to the next defect in the image you want to remove. Select a new reference point, and remove this defect as well. Repeat this process for any more defects you want to remove.
- 5). Select "File" from the menu and choose "Save As." In the dialog box that appears, name your file and save it as a JPEG.
