Instructions on How to Fold a Dodecagon

    • 1). Fold the letter-size paper in half horizontally. Afterwards, fold each half into two halves as well. Bring it to its original shape with the creases still visible.

    • 2). Place your thumb on the edge of the middle crease and grab an adjacent corner of the paper. Bring the corner over its closest crease (quarter line) to form a right triangle, with one angle being on the middle crease. Keep your thumb in place and repeat the task with the other corner.

    • 3). Grab the remaining sector of one of the paper's short sides and move it over the adjacent triangle's longest side (hypotenuse). Repeat the task on the other side to create a rhombus.

    • 4). Fold the rhombus on the quarter lines to create a regular hexagon. Count the size of one side with a ruler and do the mental division by three. From now on, the result of this division will be mentioned as "T." Think of each angle as the top of an isosceles triangle, with its equal sides measuring T. Fold the base of all six imaginary triangles to complete the dodecagon.
