How To Stop Panic Attacks From Attacking

Have you ever suffered from panic/anxiety attacks? If you have, you are not alone.
This is my story and I would like to share it with you.
MY STORY I'm not quite sure where to start.
Looking back on the whole anxiety attack saga, I can honestly say that was one of (if not) the most difficult thing I have ever experienced in my life.
I had my very first panic attack 9 years ago.
My girlfriend wanted to move to New York because she was tired of living in Atlanta.
Even though I told her okay, deep down I was afraid of the change.
Everyone I loved from family, friends, my job, as well as my life were all in Atlanta.
About two months before that, my father suffered a stroke and died soon after.
Losing my father was devastating, but to add to that, my sister as well as my mom are disabled.
With all of this on my mind, it was literally impossible to find it in me to be excited about the move.
I just could not wrap my mind around leaving the only life I have ever known.
Four months before the big move, I told my girlfriend to go visit New York to make sure this is where she want to start our life together.
The day she left was the day I had the anxiety attack.
What triggered it? I do not know, but that was the first day this nightmare began.
Every night when it was time for bed; sleeping was the last thing I had in mind.
All I could think about was how do I stop anxiety attacks.
I could not sleep due to the fact it felt as if I was suffocating myself.
Whenever I closed my eyes I felt as if I was holding my breath.
You know the feeling you get when you hold your breath under water inside a swimming pool? That is the best explanation I can come up with to explain what I went through.
My anxiety attack episodes only got worse day by day.
After having enough of this I sought after help.
I hated (feared) hospitals a bit too much so my hatred (fear) for doctors kept me from turning to them for help.
When my girlfriend returned I filled her in on what I was going through.
I asked her for advice on how do I stop anxiety attacks, and without hesitation she suggested "panic away.
" THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEMS I laughed at the name because the first word that came to mind was scam.
She stopped talking about it and showed me it instead.
I laughed even harder because the first thing I was expecting to see was in my face, a video showcasing their product and all the reasons why one should buy it.
My girlfriend paid me no mind and bought it anyways.
I got serious and focused on practicing every technique the "panic away" course outlined.
Although I practiced the techniques every day, the change was unnoticeable.
Once I freed my mind from thinking it was a "one day fix all" I started to see a difference! My everyday life became a breeze to get through.
I found myself opening up to things I have not in years.
Me sleeping like a baby and scheduling doctor's appointments are perfect examples of how far I have come along.
Now to answer the question "How do I stop anxiety attacks?" "Panic Away!"
