Did Haiti Make a Deal With the Devil? Can Satan Answer Prayers?

Recently Christian critics, gossipers, and leaders have suggested that Haiti's tribulations were brought about by a so-called deal made with the devil, with the comment "true story" added as proof.
I am unaware of its validity, but expanding on this absurd statement, true or false, intentionally suggests that Haiti prayed to Satan, rather than God, for freedom of French occupation and oppression and received it.
Notice I said the word "prayed" instead of "made a deal with".
Reworded it suggests that Haiti prayed to the devil for their freedom and won it, "true story".
This is a shameful statement for any basic bible student, let a lone a popular spiritual leader, if merely for its lack of timing and compassion.
This shamefully verbal opinion voiced by prominent Christian leaders is embarrassing because it exposes the lack of wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God's word from those assumed to be biblical scholars.
Dan 2:21, "God gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who know understanding".
Knowing understanding means understanding God's plan.
This estimation exposes the lack of a true biblical education in God's complete plan and rather delves into "apple tree" fantasies, "anytime" doctrines, and the dead rising from graves.
Suggesting that Haiti prayed, or made a deal with Satan concludes that they were aware that God and Satan existed.
If people believe that Satan exists then chances are that they also believe in the existence of God.
If they were aware of God then why would they pray to God's enemy for freedom? Bible basics: · Angels cannot answer prayers or make deals, (though they may try).
· Satan, created by God, is an angel.
· Only God the Father can answer prayers, we pray in Jesus' name as it gives us our Christian identity.
· Satan has no power over earth, he has no power over flesh, and whether Haiti prayed to him or not, he cannot answer prayers or grant freedom.
In the book of John (17), Jesus says that he has the power over all flesh, he proved it during his earthly ministry and will prove it again at the moment of his second coming.
Satan, however, has no such power.
Historically: In the book of Job, Satan was given permission to torment Job, and at the time was given freedom to inhabit both heaven and earth (2:1).
He was given permission, and is a recorded example of him actually using his influence to take life, but never has he been allowed to answer prayers.
To suggest that Haiti won their freedom because Satan heard and answered their prayer suggests that God gave Satan permission to do so.
This is ludicrous and does not adhere to God's over all plan and the divine order in which he follows.
God's word tells us that the earth, during its last generation, will experience among many things, earthquakes.
It's not because he causes them, it's just the evolution of the earth and its own physical tribulation brought upon by age, abuse, and deterioration.
In the Bible, these catastrophic events are referred to as "birth pains" that the earth will experience prior to the second coming of Christ and the birth of the "new age", (the eternal age).
Jesus, and Paul speak about the new age to come and how the earth will be as a "woman who travaileth".
The closer the time of delivery, the more extreme and frequent the contractions become.
They continue until finally, the birth of the new age.
Given what Christians should understand about Satan's role in God's complete plan, the idea that Satan actually answered with "OK" or "DEAL", to their so-called request is absurd.
Although false, it suggests that this deal lead to the deplorable living conditions in Haiti.
If so, then allowing the famine, the abundant disease, and the lack of infrastructure is God's fault for allowing the deal in the first place.
This alternative, blaming God because they (who ever 'they' is) made a deal with Satan, suggests that God forsook Haiti.
Nothing can be further from the truth.
God does not interfere.
Whether due to lack of global investment or internal corruption, Haiti's living conditions are man-made.
It is written that God will not leave or forsake us.
However, read the small print, if you forsake God then you are on your own.
Once again this is not true for Haiti where over 80% of the population has confessed faith in Jesus Christ.
Like most Christians, I believe that God's 'Holy Spirit' is on earth just as Satan's evil 'spirit' and is free to roam earth to influence those who would be, but only in spirit.
But, believing, suggesting, and convincing others that Satan could possibly say "OK" is spiritually, chemically, and quite possibly an undiagnosed case of senility.
