    • 1). Measure the length and width of the roof to determine how many sheets of corrugated roofing will be needed for installation. Multiply the width by the height to get the total square footage. Inspect the sheathing on the roof to make sure it is secure and there is nothing sticking up.

    • 2). Roll out the felt underlayment beginning at the bottom left hand corner of the roof. Insert staples every 12 inches around the felt and continue rolling out the felt across the entire roof so it is even with the eave. Cut the felt with a utility knife when reaching the edge of the roof. Roll out the second row directly above the first. Overlap the rows by 4 inches to ensure it seals properly and to help prevent moisture. Continue the same way until the entire roof is covered.

    • 3). Set the first piece of tin roofing running vertically along the bottom left hand corner of the roof directly on top of the felt. Line it up so it is flush with the eave of the roof. Hammer in roofing nails spaced out every 6 inches along the entire piece.

    • 4). Place the second sheet right next to the first with one hump overlapping. Install it in the same manner. Continue down the entire first row until it is complete. Cut the last piece with tin snips if necessary to make it fit. Slide a ridge cap underneath the roofing along the bottom of the roof to help seal any gaps or cracks. Hammer it in place with roofing nails.

    • 5). Set the first sheet of the second row just above the first row with 1/2 inch overlap. Install this row and all of the remaining rows the same way the first row was installed. Inspect the roof to make sure there are no nails sticking up upon completion.
