How to Replace The Blower Resistor on a 1995 Chevy Cavalier
- 1). Remove the retaining screws with a screwdriver that hold the lower dash insulator pad to the bottom of the glove box then remove the dash insulator pad from the vehicle.
- 2). Detach the blower motor resistor connector from the blower motor resistor. The connector is dark gray in color while the blower motor resistor is white.
- 3). Remove the two bolts holding the blower motor resistor in place with a ratchet and socket then pull the blower motor resistor from the blower motor and remove it from the vehicle.
- 4). Push the new blower motor resistor into the blower motor.
- 5). Replace the two bolts holding the blower motor resistor in place with the ratchet and socket.
- 6). Attach the blower motor resistor connector to the blower motor resistor.
- 7). Replace the lower right dash insulator pad and reinstall the retaining screws holding the pad in place with the screwdriver.
