How to Drill Through Cinder Block
- 1). Mark and measure the area you want to drill. This will vary depending on the reason for the hole. For instance, if you're drilling the hole in order to hang something, you need to consider the size of the object you're hanging and the method you plan on using to hang it. Make sure your measurements are accurate before drilling, because once the hole is made, there's no clean and easy way of taking it back.

- 4). Remove the drill from the hole. Clean the area around the hole to see that it is the proper size. If the hole is too small, you can make it bigger using a larger drill bit.
