How to Install a Dryer Rack in a Whirlpool Duet Dryer
- 1). Open the dryer door and remove any clothes remaining in the drum.
- 2). Slide the rack into the dryer with its metal prongs pointing downward. The large loops go at the back of the dryer.
- 3). Set the back edge of the rack on the small shelf at the back of the drum. Push the plastic tabs on the front edge of the rack into the holes in the door frame.
- 4). Place items on the rack, making sure to leave space between each one. Do not allow items to hang over the edge of the rack.
- 5). Close the door and start the dryer on an "Air Dry" or low temperature cycle. Sensor dry cycles are not suitable for use with a rack.
