• Encountering the phrase "This page cannot be displayed" is a fairly common issue faced by a number of users. The message is generally displayed whenever the Web browser cannot display a certain Web page. The two chief reasons that must be considered is that either the website could not be reached due to Internet connectivity issues or the browser settings did not allow the page contents to be displayed.
  
  It is possible to investigate the root cause of this problem by first pinging the website from the command prompt to check if the connection is unstable. Problems can especially be prevalent in older computers with low amounts of RAM, or in computers with very low bandwidths.
