Some work well, others not so well.
You would be amazed that the most basic diet outline is usually the best.
The way to lose weight is not all that difficult.
But you need to have a basic understanding of how to do it.
When I started out looking for a great weight loss and fitness program, I couldn't believe how many were actually available.
Most were making promises that I knew were way too good to be true.
So here is what I did.
I read and reviewed those plans that made the most sense to me.
I made sure they were basic enough that anyone could understand.
To start, I needed to set a goal of how much weight I wanted to lose.
Once I had that goal, I needed a plan of how I was going to reach it.
So here is what I did.
I joined a weight loss/fitness membership site.
They provided me with so much information about how my body functions, how it stores and burns energy, what my body needs in terms of calories to function properly.
I was able to find my BMR.
From here, once I knew how many calories my body needed, I created a calorie deficiency plan.
I accomplished this two ways.
I restricted my caloric intake by about 250 calories and I worked out to burn at least 200-250 calories.
I also incorporated a much healthier menu.
I switched to low fat products, ate lean cuts of meats and added some fish to my diet.
For snacks, I would eat some fruit or nuts and yes, even low fat ice cream.
Truthfully, I never felt hungry at all.
The plan worked great.
I was able to lose 15 pounds in about three months.
With the workout routine, I started to get a much toner body.
