How to Make a Fastener for a Knotted Bracelet
- 1). Group all of the embroidery cords together before commencing the knotting. Form a loop in one end of the group. Feed the long end of the group through the loop and pull the knot tight.
- 2). Knot your embroidery cords into your desired bracelet design. Leave enough cord at the end of the bracelet design to create a loop.
- 3). Group the loose cords together at the end of the bracelet. Form a loop in the cord grouping, big enough to squeeze the knot at the other end of the bracelet through. Feed the long end of the cord grouping through the loop, around the neck and back through the loop. Pull the knot tight to create a bowline knot with a small loop. Cut off the excess cords.
- 4). Place the bracelet around the wrist of the wearer. Squeeze the knot at one end of the bracelet into the loop at the other end to fasten the bracelet around the wearer's wrist.
