How to Save an XLM
- 1). Launch Microsoft Excel on your computer and click the File tab.
- 2). Click "Options," then "Trust Center." Click "Trust Center Settings," then "Macro Settings." Click "Enable all macros," then "File Block Settings."
- 3). Click "Excel 4 MacroSheets" in the File Type section, then click the check box next to "Open."
- 4). Click "Open Selected File Types in Protected View and Allow Editing" in the Open Behavior for Selected File Types section.
- 5). Click "OK," then click "OK" in the pop-up window to confirm the setting changes.
- 6). Click the File menu at the top of the program window and click "Open." Click the XLM file and click "Open."
- 7). Edit the XLM file as desired and click the File menu. Click "Save" to save the changes and uncheck "Enable All Macros" in the Trust Center's macro settings.
- 8). Click "OK," then click "OK" in the pop-up window to confirm the changes.
