Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder - Reduce Your OCD by Being More Forgiving
Have you ever noticed that when you really and truly forgave someone that you because more at peace? Have you ever noticed that when you did not forgive someone that you had more stress.
The hardest thing about holding a grudge is that the person that you are holding the grudge against most likely is not bothered as much as you are about it and they probably don't even care in most cases.
Do you really want them to be getting better sleep than you are and do you really want them to be at more peace than you are? I don't think that's the case.
When we forgive people and let it go, we reduce stress, which reduces anxiety, which ultimately reduces OCD because we won't have any stress that we will feel like we have to cope with some how.
Another reason why this principle is so important is that if we forgive others, we learn a very valuable lesson about letting go, which is extremely vital to learn in order to become OCD free.
So when your neighbor robs you or calls you names or whatever, just let them do it.
Know that the Lord will deal with them in His own way and we just have let go and trust that the Lord will do His thing.
We may even get to the mature stage where we want to forgive them and even not wish any pay back on them.
when we can get to this stage in our minds, we have achieved a greater maturing and we will be empowered to have a greater amount of peace in our lives that most people only dream about.
Take action: If we really want to do something major to put a stop to OCD, we must learn how to let go and to let go of grudges and learn to forgive people.
Forgive others, or our Father in Heaven will not forgive you!
