How to Replace a Mirror on a Ford F-250
- 1). Open the door to the vehicle to access the inside door panel. Turn on the vehicle and then lower the window.
- 2). Remove the trim panels that are located at the front and rear of the upper part of the door.
- 3). Pry up the control console in the inside door handle with the screwdriver or a pry bar. Then, disconnect the electrical connections to remove the console.
- 4). Locate the snap-locks in the upper left and right corners of the door panel. Press down on the center of the locks and then pull outwards.
- 5). Pull the plastic cover off that is above the door handle. Insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot and press down to pull the cover off.
- 6). Unscrew the bolt that is located under the plastic cover with the socket wrench.
- 7). Pull the door panel away from the door and disconnect all of the electrical connections. Remove the door panel and set it aside.
- 8). Remove the plastic cover or dust panel at the front of the door. Remove the electrical connector and the guide clip from the mirror.
- 9). Hold onto the mirror housing and remove the nuts that are used to secure the mirror housing to the door with the socket wrench. Pull the mirror off of the door.

Screw down the new mirror and connect the control wires. Follow the above steps in reverse order to reassemble the door.
