    • 1). Open iTunes and select the "File" menu, then select "Create a New Playlist."

    • 2). Click on your new untitled playlist on the left-hand side of your screen and enter a title such as "Zune."

    • 3). Browse through your other playlists on iTunes to find the music you want to add to your Zune playlist. Once you find a track, right-click on it and select "Add to Playlist," and then "Zune."

    • 4). Right-click on the "Zune" playlist once you have added all of the music you want to listen to on your Zune. Select "Burn Playlist to Disc."

    • 5). Place a writeable CD into the CD-ROM drive and select "Audio CD" on the burning options window. Press the "Burn" button. Once the burn (writing to CD) process is complete, take out your CD.

    • 6). Open your CD ripping software. This software pulls files off of a CD and converts them to a format your computer can read and store. Windows Media Player, which comes pre-installed on Windows computers, works fine. Links to download Windows Media Player and other CD ripping software are in the "Resources" section of this article.

    • 7). Select the "Rip" tab and insert your CD again.

    • 8). Select the format "MP3," then select where you want your newly ripped music to be saved, such as a folder on your desktop. Click on the "Rip" button. Your CD will be copied into .mp3 format, which is compatible with your Zune player.

    • 9). Open your Zune software and drag the newly ripped files to the Zune playlist where you want to store the songs. Plug your Zune into your computer with the sync cable and the new songs will be synchronized with the playlist on your Zune.
