How to Work a Weed Eater TE45
- 1). Connect the extension cord to the wall outlet you will use as the power source. Follow the voltage supply requirements recommended on your trimmer's engine. Connect the extension cord to the electrical cord on your engine. Loop the extension cord through the handle and through the hook beside the handle.
- 2). Put on your safety glasses, earplugs and leather work gloves. Hold the throttle trigger with one hand. Hold the front handle with your other hand. Hold the rear handle slightly above your waist.
- 3). Hover the cutting head 2 to 3 inches above the ground. Squeeze the trigger fully and move the head right to left, so that all rocks and debris will be thrown away from you. Hold the head parallel to the ground as you cut.
- 4). Squeeze the trigger fully and tap the head against the ground when you need to advance more cutting line.
- 5). Turn the trimmer off when you're finished by unplugging the electrical cord from the extension cord. Clean the outside of the trimmer after each use. Replace the nylon cutting line when you run out with 0.065-inch diameter Weed Eater brand cutting line.
- 6). Store the unit in a cool, dry area away from unintended users; use a locked shed if possible. Follow the maintenance requirements, and have the Weed Eater worked on by a professional as needed.
